Richard Stoffle

Richard Stoffle has a teaching and research program in the Bureau of Applied Research in Anthropology, School of Anthropology. Currently he is working on a fourth American Indian water law case focussed on aboriginal uses of water and priority dates. The last three water cases involved Southern Paiute Tribes.

Stoffle recently was invited to participate in the development of ideas for aThink Tank on Climate Change for the 50th anniversary of the UN resolution on sustainability and heritage. He prepared a manuscript entitled "As the Sea Rises: Climate Impact on Small Independent Development Nations n the Caribbean." He also presented the findings to the UN 50 Think Tank on Climate Change.
